Author Visit – Kes Gray

On Tuesday year’s 3 & 4 had a visit from Kes Gray who is the author of books such as ‘Eat your Peas’ and ‘Billy’s Bucket’. As one of the previous top ten authors in our country, he gave the children great inspiration for writing stories using their vivid imaginations.

Afterwards he was available to sign books that children had purchased something I’m sure they will treasure for a long time.

He has since written a wealth of books for children which we would urge you to look at if you haven’t done so already. It is always a great pleasure to welcome visitors to our school and they always comment on the incredibly good behaviour and enthusiasm shown by the children.

“I liked it when he talked about his childhood. After he spoke about his books, I now, really want to read ‘Daisy and the Trouble with Zoos.” Ruby Latham, 4C.

“When he came into our class, I asked him how many books he had written…70!” Fraser Wadsworth, 3S.
