Stone Age Stow

Year 3 have braved the cold weather this week to consolidate their learning about life in the Stone Age when they visited the Anglo-Saxon village at Stow. The children rotated around four different activities which involved observing late Neolithic housing and traditions, becoming very messy when trying out their own cave paintings, being archaeologists searching for stone age tools and exploring the artefacts in the museum. It was fantastic for us to have great feedback from the museum staff and the coach driver about the excellent behaviour of the children too.
Well done Year 3!
