In celebration of Harvest Festival, the students of Howbridge School joined together in assembly to give thanks for all of the wonderful things that they have. They also gave recognition to those people who are not as fortunate as themselves, by collecting in class, essential food and non-food items to give to the ‘Foodbank’. Each class hamper was wonderfully decorated and was presented as part of the Harvest Festival Assembly. The Musical Theatre Club then performed ‘The Harvest Recipe of Love’ which showed how in all parts of our lives we can find ways to give, friendship, generosity, fellowship and hope to those who may need it. They gave an amazing performance and sang beautifully, and alongside Reverend Christine helped the school recognise that a true harvest is made from ‘A Recipe of Love’. Thank you to all the students that helped make this year’s Howbridge Foodbank donation such an incredible success.
