Year 3 have had an amazing trip to Colchester Castle on Tuesday. All children learnt a lot about what the life was like in Roman Britain 2000 years ago. Children built their own Roman villa and explored many Roman artefacts. As well as this, they ventured into the foundations beneath the castle. Every member of year 3 demonstrated exemplary behaviour and astounded the tour guides with their knowledge of the Iron Age (which wasstudied in October).
“I really loved the trip to Colchester Castle because I got to see lots of things that I never knew about”
